FAQs

Am I flexible enough for Thai Massage?

Yes! We only go as far as your body allows. With any degree of flexibility, a Thai massage can be very beneficial.

What do I wear?

Traditionally, Thai massage is done with light clothing (think clothes you can comfortably move in like yoga clothes or gym clothes).  It allows for movement while maintaining modesty and privacy. We have a bathroom on site that clients are more than welcome to use to change if needed.

Will I need to fill out an intake form?

Yes. For those new to Zen Well or clients who are getting their first Prenatal Massage with us, there are intake forms we’ll have you fill out when you arrive. To save time, you’re welcome to fill out your intake form here. This link can also be found in your confirmation email.

Do you have tips on easy parking?

There’s dedicated parking outside our building. You can find detailed instructions with pictures along with a map on our location page.

What happens if I’m running late?

For those running late, we ask that you give us a call so we can let your therapist know that you’re on your way. To keep on schedule, we will have to end sessions at their originally scheduled end time, however, we will do still charge for the full amount of time originally scheduled. We are always happy to accommodate whatever amount of time is remaining for a scheduled appointment.

What happens if I have to cancel or reschedule last minute?

Zen Well enforces a strict 12hr cancellation/rescheduling/no-show policy. We ask that any cancellation requests or rescheduling requests take place at least 12hrs prior to your appointments start time. Any cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows that take place within the 12hrs prior to your appointments start time will result in half the service fee. Unfortunately, we cannot make Covid or emergency-related exceptions.

Our therapists are paid for hands-on hours only which means that when we have late cancellations/reschedules, their open slots are more challenging to get booked. This policy is enforced to protect our therapists. We appreciate you understanding.

Can I make a last-minute appointment?

Yes! You can reserve an appointment as little as one hour in advance when booking online, and you can call us by phone as well to see if there might be extra availability, but we’re not able to take walk-in appointments.

What amount of gratuity is customary?

Gratuity is typically 15%-25%, however, we’re always thankful for whatever amount you choose. Gratuity is accepted via cash or card at the studio.

When do your Memberships + Gift Cards expire?

Gift Cards and Membership credits never expire :)
